Geothermal Vertical Unit Specification

In the heating mode, the geothermal vertical units absorb heat from the ground (50F to 70F) and transfer the heat to the refrigerant through the water to refrigerant heat exchanger. The compressor completely focuses the heat absorbed by the refrigerant before it flows to a coil in the supply air stream. An antifreeze solution may be added to the ground-loop heat exchanger to prevent system freeze-up when heat pump leaving water temperature drops below the freezing point of water below 32F.

While in the cooling mode the heat pump absorb heat and moisture from atmosphere avoiding heat in the refrigerant. The heat gets transferred to the fluid in the ground loop system via the heat exchanger. After that ground absorbs the heat from the ground loop. Geothermal vertical can be used for heating as well as cooling needs.

Multi Benefits of Vertical Unit Specification

Multi benefits of geothermal vertical unit, unwanted heat in the cooling mode can be grabbed by a desuperheater and used to produce free hot water. The desuperheater can also be used to reduce the electricity bill and energy saving also.

Design Feature and Advantages

Cabinet

Stainless steel cabinet and drain pan.. Base of cabinet is made with heavy guage galvanized metal, compressor base is powder coat painted.

Sound

These units work silently, noise rating of vertical units of NC 40-45in typical installation. Apart from vertical units all geothermal heat pump have a thermal insulated partition in between the blower and compressor compartment to decrease any compressor noise.

Compressor

A high efficiency scroll compressor assists for reliable and efficient operation.

Filter Rack and Filter

Each unit is consisting of an accessible filter rack, which houses 1-inch standard sized, disposable fiberglass filter.

Filter Drier

The vertical unit has a filter drier to dehydrate and clean the refrigerant
